Back when he was in the Illinois Senate, Obama filled out a survey indicating that he was anti-gun. He has since tried to backtrack on that. With his selection of Joe Biden as his running mate, Obama has probably given up on gun-owners. Biden was the author of the assault-weapons bill passed under Clinton and of legislation that would have re-authorized it in 2007.
Obama's message to gun-owners, "Screw you, you bitter SOBs."
